What about the story?

Too many times in recent years the glitz and the glam of a casting decision, a Nuke plugin overlay or an exotic location decided the budget and eventual look of a project be it a feature, a documentary or most notably TV drama, instead of what always matters most - the story being told. The noise/news coverage reporting on the (compromised) world of celebrity and all its mirage of appeal takes over the actual stories and their intentions and integrity. Right now that is a greater tragedy than any other when so many millions of eyes are almost perpetually glued to their black mirrors in the quest for truth and answers away from the harsh truths and bracing cold offered in the outside, real world.
